1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, work email, phone number, organisation name.
- Candidate interview data: responses, audio/video recordings and transcripts, collected on behalf of the employer running the interview.
- Payment data: order IDs, amounts and transaction status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled only by our payment gateways and never stored by us.
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type and cookies needed to run and secure the Service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and improve the interview platform.
- To process payments, add credits and prevent fraud.
- To communicate service updates, support responses and security notices.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Our role: employer and processor
For candidate interview data, the employer using Shynsa decides why and how it is used, and Shynsa processes it on the employer's behalf. Candidates should contact the employer about hiring decisions and use the contact below for platform-level data requests.
4. No facial analysis
We do not perform facial analysis or emotion recognition on candidates. AI evaluation is based on interview content.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service (cloud hosting, payment gateways, speech and AI processing, email delivery), under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.
6. Data storage and security
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable safeguards to protect your information.
7. Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent, or raise a grievance by emailing hello@shynsa.com. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by law.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and security, and limited analytics to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children's data
The Service is intended for adult candidates and business users. We do not knowingly collect data of persons under 18.
